Pope's 2013 interview for La Republica: overview of translations


Reaching out to the world, Pope Francis surprises the world with his second major interview in 12 days, a dialogue with one of Italy's most prominent atheists, founder of the Italian daily 'La Repubblica'. The news paper published the interview on October 1st, 2013 in Italian. An English translation was made available later that day. The interview, the way it has been edited, was not without controversy.
